Liberty's Ember, No. 4 -  October 15, 2024

This is the fourth edition of Liberty's Ember--a newsletter from whistleblower and political prisoner Jeremy Brown. Today marks 1111 days of his captivity at the hands of the weaponized U.S. Government.

The Jeremy Brown Defense Team invites you to join us in a nationwide postcard project to call upon members of Congress to open an investigation into the abuses of the FBI in the case of retired 20-year Special Forces Green Beret Jeremy Brown who became a target of the FBI after he released a recording of two federal agents attempting to recruit him to become a paid confidential informant to spy on law-abiding citizens who had committed no crimes.

The abuses of government and violations of rights run deep throughout both of the cases the weaponized government has brought against American hero Jeremy Brown. You can find a summary with commentary on both of Jeremy’s cases and how they are intertwined HERE. We would like to get as many postcards as possible sent to Congress from all across the country before Jeremy's trial in Washington, D.C. on December 17th.

The postcards are pre-addressed to the Oversight & Accountability Committee and to the House Judiciary GOP. Helping Jeremy couldn't be easier! All you have to do is add your name and address (at least city and state, please) to at least one of the cards (two if you complete one each for House Judiciary committee and one for the Oversight Committee) and drop them in the mail. Ask friends and family to sign the others and then please make sure that they get mailed.

As Jeremy implores people: "Don't do nothing." Will you please take a few minutes of your time to help retired combat veteran Jeremy Brown?

To help out, please send an email to admin@whoisjeremybrown.com or contact us through the contact form of the WhoIsJeremyBrown.com website. Be sure to include your name, the address where you would like the postcards sent, and how many postcards you will commit to help get sent to Congress. Unless you request more, you will be sent five postcards. The postcards will be sent at no cost to you, and your contact information will only ever be used for this postcard project or to send you this once-a-month Liberty’s Ember newsletter (from which you may unsubscribe—but please don’t!).

Let's see how many postcards we can get sent to Congress before Jeremy's December 17th trial!

*     Since the last edition of “Liberty’s Ember,” which you can read here https://www.whoisjeremybrown.com/liberty-s-ember-newsletter-archive-1, Jeremy turned 50 years old and spent his fourth birthday behind bars, apart from friends and family. If you would like to write to him, you will find his address and other useful links on the #FreeJeremyBrown Linktree [https://linktr.ee/freejeremybrown].

*     Last month, I shared with you the difficulties Jeremy was experiencing in the DC jail with regard to his access to means of communication. A few days ago, Jeremy finally gained access to a tablet which now allows him to communicate by e-messages and gives him a little more flexibility with phone calls. Jail communication systems are very glitchy and often fail, though—perhaps intentionally so as to be part of the punishment. (They also aren’t free.) Nonetheless, the new access to a tablet is better than no access to a tablet, even with the frustrations that it brings.
